Michelle is his foster mom helping him find his loving forever home.

He's a smart little guy who just wants to have fun.

Meet Sandy!

Sandy is a 6 year old greyhound who has been at the shelter since Halloween. Why? There’s nothing wrong with her--she just needs a very specific home. You see, Sandy is gentle and sweet with people. She loves to cuddle and lean into you. She is currently the favorite dog to have behind the front counter because she loves attention.

BUT she is very picky about other dog housemates. Sandy doesn't do well with other dogs. In fact the only dog friend she has at the shelter is another greyhound named Tank who is very calm and easygoing. (We keep trying to explain to Sandy that if she’d compromise her principals just a little, she’ll get a home much faster, but the girl’s got her standards!)

Sandy would be great as the only dog. She’s been a pet before--she’s not straight off the track. She is house trained and loves being social with folks at our front counter. She is actually somewhat stressed from being her so long and has lost some weight so we'd really love to find a forever home for her. If you’ve got the right home-- Sandy is waiting for you!

Wonderful Tomboy Pittie Girl

Josie is such a tomboy. She loves to play ball, frisbee and tug. This athletic, active girl would be the perfect companion for a pit-loving family or person. Josie has a glossy brindle coat and an athletic build. She has warm brown eyes that are full of love and mischief! Josie is very well behaved when she sees another dog, but could learn some manners when playing. She has been getting lots of obedience training by our staff and knows sit, watch me, down and is on her way to learning stay. She walks well on the leash and is pretty well housetrained. 

Josie has been looking for her forever home for quite some time and is a "Shelter Superstar!" Once you meet her, you will fall in love with her adorable antics and personality.
